Business Card Printing

A clear introduction to your business

Use the front for your business name and main message, then give the reverse a purpose: contact details, a short service list, your website or a QR code. Choose single-sided printing for a clear introduction or double-sided printing when you need more room for your details. Choose a small run when details are changing, or a larger pack for an established design you use regularly.

Standard double-sided card specification

• Finished size: 85 × 55mm.
• Card: 450gsm silk, with a smooth surface and a subtle sheen.
• Printing: full colour on both sides.
• Corners: square.
• Finish: no added lamination.

Choose your card stock and finish, printed sides and pack quantity above. The standard specification described here is 450gsm silk, square corners, double-sided and unlaminated; other priced configurations have their own selection and price. Matt, gloss and velvet finishes are available on selected double-sided silk options. Rounded 6mm corners are currently offered online with a matt finish. Uncoated cards use 350gsm stock, with single- or double-sided printing and no lamination.

Choose your quantity

Choose 25, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 2,500, 3,000, 4,000, 4,500, 5,000 or 10,000 cards. The selected pack quantity applies to one design, with its matching front and back. For separate names, branches or designs, add each design as a separate item. The basket quantity counts identical packs: a 250-card pack with basket quantity 2 means 500 cards using the same artwork.

Prepare your artwork

For double-sided cards, send a two-page PDF with the front first and the back second, or clearly label separate files “Front” and “Back”. For single-sided cards, supply one page. Set up each side at 91 × 61mm including 3mm bleed around the 85 × 55mm finished card. Extend backgrounds to the outer edge. Keep important text and logos at least 3mm inside the finished edge, within the 79 × 49mm safe area.

Use CMYK colour and images at 300dpi at their final size. Embed or outline fonts and remove artwork guides before exporting. Check phone numbers, email addresses, spelling and any QR-code destination carefully. A screen preview can look different from a printed card, particularly with very bright colours.

Business card questions

Is double-sided printing included?

Double-sided printing is included when you select “Double sided”. For “Single sided”, supply one printed face. The selected variant and price define your order; double-sided packs need clearly labelled front and back artwork.

Can I divide a pack between different designs?

Each quantity is for one design. Add separate designs as separate items, including cards with different names or contact details.

What if I need help with the design?

Artwork changes and new designs are quoted separately and are not included in the printing price. Contact IPRINTOP to agree your artwork quote before placing your print order. Then choose Artwork Check / Minor Adjustment and upload your file, or choose Design Help Required and complete the brief. Enter your agreed artwork quote reference; we will confirm any extra files we need.

Will I approve the artwork before printing?

Yes. Check the final proof carefully and approve it before production starts. Your approval should cover the layout, wording, contact details and the correct front and back.

Is delivery included?

Standard delivery to addresses in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland is included in the displayed card price. This listing does not offer delivery to the Isle of Man, Channel Islands, BFPO or destinations outside the UK.

When will my cards be ready?

Production starts after your final artwork is approved. Standard production usually takes four working days, followed by delivery. We will confirm your estimated arrival date for your card quantity and delivery address. Your cards will be sent directly to the delivery address on your order. Working days exclude weekends and bank holidays, and some delivery areas take longer. If you need your cards for a fixed date, contact IPRINTOP before ordering.
